Bleh, I had practiced soldering wires to chip legs of an old laptop (suber uber tiny), but the ones on my mobo look pretty easy ;) Oh well :(

I redesigned a whole motherboard once. Also solded everything myself.

Around 4 months. This was back in the early 90's on a baby AT board.
