How do I add image to response

Postby fireman604 on Sat Oct 28, 2006 10:46 pm

I am wanting to post pictures to my response. How do I add link correctly or a screen shot. I guess what is the best way I have a DSL link so band width for me is ok but I do not want to post something that is to large. Thanks

Upload your pic to imageshack.us or similar and then copy the forum link into your post. 800x600 is a good size. :yesnod: If you can't get it to that size, then post a thumbnail and then people can click on it. :yesnod:

ok what and where is image shack. I am not computer illitrate but by telling me to upload to someplace is sort of missing some of the steps. Sorry it is like Microsoft saying see your computer administrator when it is an OEM copy and tag you are it. Just a pet peeve. Now that I said that step by step how do I upload and point to image on image shack. Thanks sorry for the grumble http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/8388/aerial9872wy8.jpg

Hehe, no problem.;) Go to the site imageshack.us first, you have to register first though by supplying your e-mail address, don't worry as there is no spam that will come your way. Allow the cookie if your spyware asks.

Then hit 'browse' button and that will bring you to your computer and navigate to the pic you want to upload. After that is finished, you have a bunch of options to copy, I usually take the post to forum option, try it and if you don't like what you see then copy a thumbnail. Don't worry if you make a mistake, I'll be here for a while to help you. :yesnod:
