Hotmail down?

Postby Pot8oHead on Sun Mar 16, 2003 9:07 pm

Hi all,

Wasn't sure where to post this one, but here goes...

Neither my wife nor I have been able to access hotmail for just about a week now. We've tried typing www.hotmail.com, hotmail.com and just plain ol' hotmail. We've also tried sneaking in by going to msn.com and clicking the Sign In button there, but all that ever happens is this page

>> http://loginnet.passport.com/login.srf? ... 3&_lang=EN comes up completely blank.

Has anyone else been experiencing this? If not, does anyone know what might be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Thx, dlt.

My wife is sure we've had this problem before and that I installed something to fix it, but I can't think of anything. :blink

First check your date and time settings on your computer. If they're ok, then try this.

1) Make sure your Date\Time Properties are correct.
2) Export your Cookies to file, (File | Export)
3) You may need to clear your Temporary Internet Files as you may have a corrupt file there.
Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK. Delete Cookies
