I am using am HDMI cable to connect my computer to my tv and I erased the HDMI sound in the Control Panel > hardware and sound > sound and it only displays speakers, where it used to display both speakers and HDMI sound. I deleted the HDMI sound by accident and I am wondering if there is a way to get it back? Thanks.

what operating system are you using?

If available a system restore might help.

For Windows 7:
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

Alternatively, you could try opening device manager and scanning for hardware changes - that should pick up the HDMI.
