Hey Angie, if I'm not mistaken, in the old days, the primary hula dancers were men, trained by masters.

Today even in the cultural TRUE Hula Dance many of the Hula Dancers are men. What you see today for "show" is NOT true Hula. The only true Hawaiian Hula is called Hula Kahiko (Ancient Hula).
