I had a problem with my windows where it was saying the NTLDR was missing because if a partition I had to resize and I guess it messed it all up.

I basically had to reinstall windows on the same partition because it wouldnt allow me to format or anything on the harddrive. Anyway to make it so I can use my old windows that is installed on the same hardrive partition?

So a quick rundown...

Two windows installations on one HD. Any possible way to get older windows installation to work. It has the windows folder still there and all files and folder.

I just need to be able to boot into it.

Also, Where is the ntldr located so I can put it back into the old installation because old installation shows up in my bootloader when I first start my pc.

You will need to go to Control Panel\folder options and then on the view tab place a check mark in show hidden files and folders, and remove the check from Hide protected operating system files. You should be able to see the file NTLDR

Can you post a picture of your disk management screen

I cant remember how to get to the disk management screen can you tell me how to do that.

Also, the files from my other windows installation are saying access denied but when I choose to put them off read only I hit apply then ok and then go right back and it is back to read only.

To get to Disk management screen;
Left click the start button
Right click Computer
Left click manage
Left click Disk management

1) Is the D drive an external drive

2) Can you post a picture of the C drive expanded to show the folders, and with the hidden files and folders showing

3) copy and paste your boot.ini file

Change your boot.ini file to what I have below, which is basically adding a "S" to the first line and then removing the first line after [operating systems]
