Foxpro Data to web form

Foxpro Data to web form

Postby openwindow » Thu Nov 16, 2006 6:39 pm

I am trying to populate a web form with data from a foxpro table. The name of the form feild contains a '$' character. Fox is recognizing this charater as it's own so I am getting a error when compiling!

MAINFORM._webScript.document.forms[0].ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$txtFirstName
.value
= (MAINFORM.PAGEFRAME1.PAGE11.Page11o3.value)

If I remove the '$' character it compiles fine but when I insert it the error returns. Is there a way to call the form id instead of the form name. The name of the form cannot be changed because of the machine generated naming convention with aspx?
If your color blind, is it still BSOD!
