folding with Ubuntu
I have a full version of Ubuntu 64bit loaded on my second hard drive of the PC and really enjoy using it (i like the format)
Would there be any way to use this for GPU folding and then maybe using VM to fold with SMP in windows(a reverse of what i have now)?

Re: folding with Ubuntu
You can run the GPU and SMP client both in Linux if you wish. The SMP setup would be the same, and here are some directions for nVidia in Linux:
Set one (looks easier)
Set too (very detailed)
I'm not sure which would be better as I don't have the ability to try either out.

Thanks mark i will give that a try after the weekend.
The grandkids are here for the weekend and it's difficult to concentrate with a 6 year and 10 year old constantly saying "can i play with the computer"
