Hmm, so you've given up on GPU folding then? I used the SMP MPICH2, second from the bottom of the page. However, I have now read that the Deino client is better but I haven't tried it yet, last one on the page. Here are the various guides. With SMP going on all four cores you should get around 1.8K PPD. I have since moved to GPU folding getting about 4.7K PPD.

If you need any help, just yell.:)

EDIT: Make sure you have your XP passworded as you'll need that to start either client.

I only gave up GPU folding because i just could not get it to run properly.
maybe i will give it another shot.

If i re-load it and set it running then go to configure/advanced and then start another machine ie 1 2 3 or 4 will that work?

By the way i am on Vista

The guides are for Vista too. Will this system be on 24/7 as the deadlines are tight. As to the SMP, you specify core ID 1 and SMP will automatically load up the other cores, you only have to run one instance of it.

Good, I'll be in and out all day, as most days, if you need help.
