I even had tears in my eyes when my grandchildren were born. Angie is right John...It's entirely different when they are your own. :yesnod:

I am not ready yet. Still learning how to take care of myself. lol :;) But down the road I know I do. I hope to have a boy before a girl. Then if he grows up with my build, no one will mess with his sis! :yesnod: Oh no dude, you don't wanna mess Jason Jr's sis. Not to mention the rumors spread around that their dad is in the mafia. I mean, have seen that guy?!? :;)

I tend to get easily annoyed, so that's probably part of it. I'll turn only 23 this year though, so I'm sure I've plenty of time yet to think about it. Not to mention I would kind of have to get married first ;)
But at the time, no mini-me for me. :no

I was always the same way John, never wanted kids around me, babysit, or have any of my own.( No maternal instinct??)They were cute, but at a distance. I think its because I was never around and involved with any newborn, that is until my precious Connor 5 now, so I was 51yr before I experienced the unconditional love and devotion to a child(My eyes well up just writing this) And I'm just the Aunt! Now I'm ready to have a family of my own .

I think my mind will change again with time. Things are differant now than they were even when my parents were my age. They got married at 22, and I was born 4 years later.

I'm already older than they were when they got married, so I probably have at least 8-10 good years before I'd even have a shot at having children. Again, providing I'm married. This aint a one man show, lol.

John
When you meet your real true love and hopefully get married or commit yourself to each other, it just probably might come naturally to the both of you to see the fruits of your love for each other. The best achievement i have ever made in my live was to be the father of two beautiful boys who are men now, and to be the grandfather of twin grandsons who are my pride and joy. There has never been anything in this world to surpass that for me except marrying my beloved wife.
And that's a fact

Isn't he the best???
