I have both Photoshop7 and Paint Shop Pro and usually go back to Photoshop for most things. It and Paint Shop both use the same plugins, but I'm more comfortable with Photoshop.

sadly enough, for basic graphics editing, i just use paint. it's simple to use, and therefor doesn't require reading a book to use.

I like Macromedia Studio MX 2004 for it's Vector Graphics.

But for photo editing, etc I like Adobe Photoshop 7 or the simple program, Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Addition.

I use Photoshop CS (8), but if you aren't a graphics kahuna (like me, I still need to read a book of it), I should recommend Paint Shop Pro.

Is is that much better than Photoshop 7? If so, I need to get that one.
