LOL, I thought it was specifically 8-ball.

I think Billiards refers to all sports played with a cue. Pool is a specific type of billiards, as is snooker.

OK, I had to google that, but I always thought that billiards wasn't the right word for pool lol. I've got clubhouse games on my DS and billiards is 9-ball i believe.

You are correct Ar!stotle. no pockets and all bank shots, though that's we used to call billiards, with the six holes. I guess it all depends on where one lives.

Bowling is the greatest sport on Earth. Period.

OK, maybe not, but its really awesome! I've posted Series (3-Games) of 614, 591, 591, 571 and 611 in the past month+ (the rest were in the lower 5's) My current average is 185, with a high game (career) of 269 and a career series of 697.

So, anyone else got any out-of-the-ordinary sports to talk about? I've heard of underwater hockey... looks really fun but the equipment is fairly expensive and you can't play it alone.

I love snooker too but the one I would vote for is Cricket if it was there.

I assume one or two might not have heard of it.

Cricket.... I've heard of it but never seen it. Isn't that similar to baseball?
