Snooker's a great game if one keeps ones eye in and has a little technique. They used to show the world championships here on a late night BBC channel but not for quite a few years now. I used to sit up till like 4 am or something to watch it :yesnod:

Good to post a link Adnan. :) Hehe Graham, I used to play on the 6x12's and I really killed all the players on a regular pool table that you would find in a bar.

Nearly got myself killed too! Bunch of morons didn't like to lose a couple of hundred in a half hour! :roflmao: They had the break and I cleaned up! Thankfully, the whole bunch of bar people that were there were my friends and sort of 'persuaded' them to honour the debt. :whistle

LMAO Algis  Bar Pool can get quite rough. It's not easy to find a snooker table around anymore - except at private clubs, but ALL the pubs have pool tables.

Ya, I agree with 'rough'. I'm handicapped and could never have defended myself against them, they never did bother me afterwards. Good thing to have people that respect you and friends that are itching for a reason to bash someone's idiot head in. Gawd love 'em. :) Jeez, I'm even tearing up remembering that day.

I have to admit I'd also never heard of Snooker. But then again, I didn't know Billiards was "Pool" for a while either when I was younger.

I think Billiards refers to all sports played with a cue. Pool is a specific type of billiards, as is snooker.

OK, I had to google that, but I always thought that billiards wasn't the right word for pool lol. I've got clubhouse games on my DS and billiards is 9-ball i believe.
