Guys i have a system at work running xp pro, explorer.exe uses 100% of the cpu all the time... also it freezes when the 3dtext screensaver come on..... the only process that caught my eye was ismpack6.exe, i dont know what it is or what it does... do you???

Is the system up to date with SP2 for instance.

you might try to download Ad-Aware from Lavasoft http://dw.com.com/redir?edId=3&siteId=4 ... l-ad-aware and run it in safemode to see if you can get rid of what appears to be a hijack program.
Also run your anti virus program while in safemode.
