Yes, i use encryption everyday for different tasks but i don't use PGP Desktop when i have to log in to an email account. I use digital certificates provided by the mail provider with a mutual encryption of 256bit when availlable.

Yep
PGP when necessary

Certs always proved an annoyance and WFE isn't as secure as PGP, and if I need to encrypt something, it's going to need to be encrypted with PGP.

Good question.

I never had a need to encrypt something, esspecially email. The best one of keep information safe is to keep it off the computer and in your head.

Well the fact of the matter is that only a few of US have coworkers in Beijing, and most corporations have their own private mail servers setup. My point is that most users don't need encryption as it's really not neccesary to encrypt a rumor that you'd want to send to a friend, or to ask if your grandparents are allright.
