Do a search on all your hard drives and delete from there. I know the last nasty trojan I had placed itself on all my drives and in my prefetch folder. So everytime I deleted it. Xp would grab it from the prefetch folder and put it back. Then Xp wouldn't let me delete it and I had to boot in safe mode dos prompt and delete it that way. Good luck Rip. Sorry I couldn't help more last night

I have this same d*mn virus on my main PC and now cannot get to it.

It's not blocking me from opening all my .exe programs saying the shortcut cannot be found. NAV did a full scan in both safemode and normal, but didn't find anything beyond the 3 files which I deleted or quaranteined. What's going on???

To err is human, to really foul things up requires a computer.
Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with the software
Quoting one is plagiarism; Quoting many is research

I just ran Anti-Trojan on Bessie and was relieved to see the "congrats" message after the scan. What a bummer, John. Hope the program works for you!

Thanks everyone. RIP I'm really glad you got your problem fixed... I guess it's my turn now.

Thanks for the updates... I'm running a virus scan via the net on the drives now. Why oh Why did this have to happen on the PC with an 80GB and two 60's is beyond me. This is going to take a week.

It shouldn't, John. I have an 80 and 3 40's and Norton clears in less than an hour.

Norton has officially pissed me off. I'm going to the new one Eric told me about. Norton didn't find half of what that online one is finding.
