Dual Boot - Remote Access
I have several observatory systems that need a dual boot system so they can have two hardware configurations while sharing the same resources such as dome and mount control. This comes from a common telescope mount that has two different telescope/camera systems mounted on one mount. Only one system would be used at any given time. There is a large RC scope and a large refractor each with their own cameras. What I need to do is be able to boot into either the RC system partition or the refractor system partition. The system is now set for the RC with all software setup for that particular system. The refractor is being setup with it's own camera and the additional system boot would be configured with it's software set for that particular hardware.
While I am aware of how to create the dual boot system, I've done tri boot before, I need a solution that allows remote access allowing the choice of booting into either boot partition remotely. I've contacted the people at Radmin but their answer was try it. As this is an observatory in CT and I'm in Va, that's not a very comfortable answer. I'm hoping someone here has had the need and found a way to remotely access a dual boot system reliably. Any suggestions are very welcomed.
Thanks,
Steve

Nope I don't think you'll get specific help like that on remote accessing a dual boot system here Steve.

Thanks Graham,
I did a bit more research and found both iReboot and MS Mesh 2011 that seem to be able to do what I'm looking for.
Thanks,
Steve

Mesh 2011 will only install on Vista & Windows 7, unfortunately for XP users.
