dual boot does not recognize the OS I am using

I installed win xp on my vista laptop in partition E (D was used by recovery files). My laptop now boots up in xp, however when I click on OS in dualbootpro 1.1 the only OS shown is Vista, which is also the indicated boot in boot overview. What is going on?

Try this guide, (substitute Vista where it says Windows 7, as they are very similar)
