The ASUS an8 doesnt have 16 sata ports would be my guess :)

Yah but the newer onboard SATA channels dont run through the PCI bus... by putting 16 SATA drives on th4e PCI bus you are basically going to limit yourself to accessing one drive ata atime... (speed wise I mean)

I like the computer I have right now, but it would be cooler with a bigger screen and one of those auxillary displays which are coming out on laptops on the chassis, and may'be even a transparent case door to see whats going on inside and a 1 TB hard drive.
