I don't see why not. It will be an awesome game though. I've always loved the sims.

I'm not sure, but I would guess yes. But not until a while after it comes out.
The company that puts Windows games onto Macs (Aspyr) usually moves the games after a while; they still haven't moved Call of Duty 4.

Keep a look out on Aspyr's website, and they'll probably tell ya if and when Sims 3 will be out on the Mac.

The Sims 3 will be released on the Mac. It is going to be released several months after (from the looks of it, about 7 months after) the Windows release, but it will be out for the Mac.

Take into consideration when looking at this, that it takes a Mac Pro to run the Sims 2 flawlessly, so it might be the Mac that you have to wait on to run the Sims 3.

Just an FYI, I have an iMac (purchased late 2007) and I have all the expansion packs for the Sims 2 and they play better than they ever did on my PC - So it does not take a Mac Pro to play the the Sims 2, whether or not an upgraded computer will be necessary to play the Sims 3, but looking at the requirements for the PC, they don't look very different than what comes on a slightly upgraded iMac.
