Death comes in 3's - or 4's - or maybe 7's

Postby kanaloa on Sun Jun 28, 2009 8:54 pm

Started with David Carradine at the beginning of the month.

Then Ed McMahon, Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Gale Storm, Fred Travalena and Billy Mays all in the same week? WTH? :confused

And apparently Walter Cronkite isn't expected to recover, his family released that over the weekend, so his time may also be near.

We've had several death's amongst family members here at work too (myself included). This has been a f'd up year so far.

This has especially been a downright strange month - considering last week with the Governor and all too

Holy sh*t, Mr. Shamwow too?! I know I wished him dead very often every day.... I never heard of Gale Storm.

Gale was a star in the 50's I think. And I think the Shamwow guy is that creepy dude - Offer "Vince" Shlomi. Billy did a lot of the other "As seen on TV" stuff though, most notable to me, Oxiclean.

Ya, I think it was Oxiclean the first time I heard him. Man, what an irritating voice!

Here's another one. Comedian Fred Travalena died Sunday afternoon. And Walter Cronkite isn't doing too well.

I'd almost forgotten about David Carradine too.

I would recommend staying away from any plastic bottles that are not BPA free, especially if you reuse them. We learned a lot about BPA when we had our first child because the BPA leaks into the contents of the bottle when the bottle is heated.

Makes you wonder about those bottles of water sitting in a hot car at one point? Yikes
