Joni wrote:Good afternoon all. Mac, see then is something to be done other than copying long url's by hand and augie thanks but I know how to cc&p. One of the first things I learned but can you start a post here, then leave the site and get your url and return here to post it? Some how I have printed out some instructions from tomcoyote.org/hjt/ where it shows how to do it Cc&p into a forum??? :confused

That's one reason I recommend the Avant Browser...it gives you the Tabbed Windows that allow you to jump back and forth without giving up real estate on your screen...everything is in the same window...just behind one another with a tab to get to it at the top or bottom(your pick). You "stay here"...but go to another page to cc&p to your hearts content!

You can use as many browsers as you want. e.g. I have mozilla running with IE and they don't interfere with each other.

Joni

If you don't want to install a second browser there's a very simple way to accomplish what you want.

Go to the top left of your window>File>New>Window

Now wait for the page to load and you can jump back and forth between the two pages by clicking on the tabs in your system tray.

Now a simple way to C&P your url's...just place your cursor anywhere on the url you want to copy...now right click...then click on copy...then move back to your second page where you want to place the url...right click again...then click on paste...Whalla...you're done...It really is that simple...just takes a little getting used to...You can open as many windows as you like...just make sure you pay attention to where you are each time...lol...When I post Beta's...sometimes I will have as many as 5 windows open at a time pulling information for the same article... ;)

Thanks guys. It showed up in results of my ad-aware scan. I haven't learned yet which and how to get rid of spyware detected by scan so just quaranteens items. I know wrong spelling.

I read instructions yesterday but brain didn't digest info, will recheck it today. I knew it had to be somekind of spyware. Read who article you posted Augie, will keep it. Thanks again both of you. :yesnod:
