If you just want a large, easily navigable reference site for CSS, HTML, etc., I really like http://www.w3schools.com. They seem to be on the ball.

While working with Plone last year I attended the 1st Plone conference in New Orleans. Here's a link to the slideshow from the CSS tutorial given on day one. The code here will be "very" Plone specific, however, the folks behind Plone are CSS "grand masters" :yesnod:

and they may be able to help you too. Besides, anyone who knows good beer like these guys couldn't be all bad. Good Luck!
