corrupt ntldr error
hi!
So i have the following problem:
i have vista on c:, and xp on d and another xp on g:
At first the only entry in the boot menu was the vista entry, but i added the 2 other xp installations with vistabootpro. But now when i try to access xp i get this error:
/ntldr missing or corrupt
error: 0xc000000f
i read the forum and saw that i had to copy ntldr and ntdetect.com to c: to vista i suppose). That did not fix the problem
Then i read i also had to copy the boot.ini file to c: but i can't find it on the xp installations! what i do find is boot.ini.backup but that doesn't work either
Please, a little advice
Have you made sure to unhide system files in folder options???

so here's the screenshotof disk management.
i've first installed winxp on D. then i installed vista on C on a pata drive in slave . And last i installed another xp on a partition G. So everything went fine, but then i put the pata drive with vista on it in master and everything went wrong so i tried to fix the problem with the repair command on the vista dvd with the known consequences.

You still need to change the folder option so you can see hidden and system files and find your boot.ini file

now what i really want to do is remove the vista disc from my computer, i don't need it anymore. But when i do this, i can reach the boot menu, but when i choose the first xp install, i get a "hal32.dll missing" and the other xp install says: there's something wrong with your hd config, please contact microsoft etc...
What can i do about it?
Thanks
