I dont fully understand what your asking but if your talkin about OCing the chip the ye you can push it as long as the chip does not go above a certain temp (around 50 C). The more you OC the hotter it gets so you need extra coolers to keep the chip temp at normal level.
Hope that answers your question?

Just looking for a good cooler.
I already overclocked my cpu to 245 fsb (10x is fixed and can't be changed).
Now it's idle at 41 degrees bus the cooler is making a lot of noice. So i'm looking for a good cooler to overclock more or the bring down the noice.

Now that i'm asking, how high can i bring the vcore, i'm at 1,7 volt and like you see my temps are good so can i rise it up without burning everything. I've overclocked quite a lot but i'm always scared by raising the vcore.

Good cooling solution for amd (k7 and k8)and intel (LGA775 and P4),

its really good, you can put really powerfull fans on it if you want, or you can put the silent (white ones) on it to keep the noise down, i think that would help you push your 3000+ a bit further.
If it moves, salut it.
If it dosn't move, pick it up.
And if you can't pick it up, paint it.
