Click on Bookmarks
Click Organize Bookmarks
In popup windows click Import and Backup
Click Backup
Select location, it saves it as a JSON file

Do the same but click Import to restore them......................

Oh feck. Well that's just stupid. When FF is open and you click File, you have Import. That opens "import settings and data," and that's where the only choice is IE. Wouldn't it make sense that File/Import/Import settings & data would also be the location for importing bookmarks?
