Hello,
I installed DualBootPRO on my computer running Win XP SP3. I was directed to backup the BCD. When I specify a name and try to backup I get an error message "DualBootPRO was unable to save the file bcd_bkup to the specified location..." I tried saving in different locations and get the same message. Advice?

DualBootPro back-up is to back-up the BCD files which XP doesn't have, thats why you cannot save it as its not there to back-up.

Windows Vista, 7 & Server 2008 use the BCD instead if the boot.ini which XP & earlier Os's use.

You can back-up the BCD if you are dual-booting, from with-in Vista or Winndows 7.
