Best Places to Buy Books Online...

Postby kanaloa on Wed Mar 05, 2003 2:39 pm

I personally have to promote Amazon, www. Amazon.com.

I am very impressed with their service, and their speedy shipping.

Next to Amazon, I also liked Books a Million online, www.bamm.com. They also had really good shipping.

Both also do really good on shipping. For books, they were packed better than some fragile stuff I've ordered off eBay, lol.

I also like Amazon's ratings, and suggestions, as well as their reviews, and other people who bought this also bought feature.

All around I give Amazon a big Thumbs up. :yesnod:

What or who do you all recommend?

Well Deb and i were just talking about Amazon the other day in a different thread. I order a lot of books from them, and i love how they keep updating your order if one of your books is not in stock, and when they are ready to send your order, they notify you when it will be posted. All in all they really have a first class service, and when the books are delivered they are really well packed. I have also bought second hand books, and here Amazon notifies the person who's name is beside the book, and they contact you and the payment is made through Amazon. The seller then notifies you when the item is posted. I have never had better service anywhere than from Amazon. :yesnod:
