Has anyone heard that these two items are not compatible?

Not to my knowledge. They work perfectly together.

Yeah me too as far as I know but I was sitting with someone who has been misinformed and was pretty adamant that he was right and has been running with the Windows Firewall only

They've been working well together for me, and I have Windows firewall turned off, not sure why anymore, I think because of our wireless setup.

I've been using that combo for four years and never had a problem between the two.

@jojo, you don't want to run two firewalls at once, they'll interfere with each other. Same with two AVs.

heck i dont run much....
just stay off the porn sites and be warry of your emails....and its worked for me...

although i run AV scans weekly and all sorts of others....my experience with them is they are resource hogs...

maybe they have come out with something new lately....

what would be a good setup to use....
mcafee any good? doesnt the like deluxe edition have a firewall and AV all included...
anyone have that running?

or is the setup mentioned above a good one to use...

They won't interfere as they both are not running on your CPU and accessing the same areas as say Windows Firewall and Zone Alarm.
