Automatic Syncronisation Software?

Postby Synaptic on Mon Jan 05, 2009 9:59 pm

Hi All,

I'm looking for some software that can syncronise when an *event* occurs.

I just bought a Western Digital HDD --> TV Media connector, which pulls media off an external Hard Drive. As my media resides on my main computer, I would like to be able to connect the external drive to my main computer and have it automatically sync any new files that appear while its connected, so that I don't have to copy-paste every new file (ie. it would always be up to date.)

Does anyone happen to know any software that can do this? I've got Acronis backup, which can *backup* on an event like this, but it puts them into its own funny file container, rather than just essentially copying-pasting any new files.

In backup terms, I'm looking for something like a 'continous data protection' piece of software.

Many thanks in Advance
