ASUS motherboard problems...
The board is a P4P800S/E
This is the second time this same mobo has blown. I thought it was first a surge in power because 2 chips were blown. So I bought a new one, Now the second one has done the same thing and I had it on a new surge protector. Has anyone heard of any problems with these mobo's?

No, I wouldn't think so. We're talking really low voltage to start with. A surge may burn out a capacitor or two, but necessarily everything. Some parts would probably be more voltage tolerant than others.
i would definately suggest a case fan for your system, it should plug right into your power supply and you put it on the back of your system to pull the heat out of the case, they are around $5....also there is a huge possibility of power supply problems, i would invest in a new one before spending more money on a board...

are your problem still there?
i hav seen so many case as you mention here.
no doubt. mostly, PSU effects ur mobo.
if the psu u using is not putting out a stable power rate, it will easily fry your mobo quite easily.
check your psu clearly. suggest you replace it b4 sent your previous mobo for warranty
