I guess I'm the first one here. Nah, I hate the late fall when it's the cold and damp/wet months, all the foliage is gone and the land looks bleak with the sun weakly peering through the trees and giving little warmth or light.

When the snow starts flying it covers the bleakness and my basement which warms things up a bit. I have to start thinking about winter in the summer as I have to buy wood for the stove, put some window plastic up in the fall and make sure the snowblower is working.

I would never move from here.:)

Oh, me thinks I should change the pic in my sig to reflect reality.;)

I hate Winter, the cold and the snow. We have already had 20 degrees and with the windchill factored in who knows what the temperature felt like.

I voted YES I hate the weather where I live in case you are wondering LOL

I really enjoy the cold, based on the premise it's way easier to get and keep warm than it is to get cool. Here where I am we've had rain almost every day for the past few weeks, with no more than a day or two in between.

It was great late October as we headed into spring because everything started sprouting and it's nice and green but hey, I'm kinda feeling enough is enough already at least for a week or two!

I *HATE* (in every since of the word) cold weather. I loved it when I was younger, but I hate it now with a passion. I'm in a zone 8a/b but since I love the tropics, this is still my hell (for four months). If I lived further north I'd probably loose my mind.

My yard looks like someone pored boiling water all over it. Got down to 21F here the other day, a record for this early. Calling for 19F on Sunday night. It's not even winter yet, ugh.

Bring on spring time, I'm ready to grow stuff. Here's dreaming of a warmer climate.

I voted Yes, I don't like the winter.

I don't like the cold at night nor the short days & way less bikinis at the beach, for starters.

I don't mind winter and I'm not really too bothered about the cold. What I don't like is when it's cold, wet and cloudy, that's just depressing. When it's a beautiful, crisp winter's morning, there's a frost on the ground and the sun is shining I think it's magical!
