i agree the account must be a normal user account, i even recomended that he used the "guest" account. for provisioning, and i htink the PC is already in the family room.
It looks like you've done all that you can. I wish your customer well if he'll do/did all that. The kid should be talked to by his parent(s) but that's not your place to intervene, of course.
