24: Season 6 (Possible Spoiler Alert)

WOW.....Tonight was some of the best TV I have seen. Never have I been so thrown back by what happened on a TV show.

The critics were not lying about this being the best season yet. I cannot wait for the remaining 20 episodes.

It was awesome!!! To be honest, I've never watched it before but I started watching it last night because I have a friend on the show. I can see why people get hooked!

The first 4 episodes (last night and tonight) are out on DVD tomorrow and I'm going to buy it.

The show goes to Mondays at 9 PM Eastern starting next week, and I'll definitely be watching! ^*^

P.S. If you missed last night and tonight, you MUST get the DVD. Do NOT just start watching it next week until you have seen the first 4 hours!!!

SUNDAY NIGHT ratings:

"24" averaged 15.7 million viewers and a 6.1 rating/14 share in adults 18-49, Nielsen Media Research said.

The first hour of "24" averaged 15.1 million viewers and a 5.8/13 in adults 18-49. It rose steadily after the NFL playoff game ended at 8:20 p.m. ET, scoring 16.2 million viewers and a 6.3/14 in the demo between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The second hour was the highest-rated hour for the show since the Jan. 16, 2006, premiere and was up 5% compared with last year's 15.5 million viewers.

I suspect the numbers will be higher next week wth people hearing from friends and family and buying the DVD set to catch up. Man what a start to the season.

Man I don't even want to imagine. As if Jack killing Curtis wasn't enough right then and there, they had to go and detonate the nuke. I was sitting there talking to my buddy and all we could say back was "Oh my god" over and over again. It was just a completely unfathomable event. I mean Season 2 had a nuke go off, but it was in the desert away from everything but this....jeeezzzz. And you knew right then and there, as Jack watched the explosion that...JACK WAS BACK....again.

The preview of next week is interesting too. The same head guy from last season is still floating around. I think its time he get his jugular ripped out by Jacks teeth... OK OK I know I am obsessed.

That was such a great moment.....The biting of the Jugular......very graphic. I must say that Day 6 is so far, shaping up to be the best yet.

I can't believe Season 5 didn't win for best Drama on the Golden Globes. Season 6 will definitely have a better shot.

I caught like five minutes of it but I stopped because I think that I am going to borrow the first season from a friend. At least I think that he has the first season.
