Congrats on the cert, Bobby!

Yeah, it's crazy. The amount of posts that are advertised "Must be educated to degree level" really grates on me! Why should I be less capable of taking the position simply because I didn't got to Uni and study a degree course but chose to go straight into the career path instead?

It's a shame because there's plenty of genuine admins, etc, out there who got the certs as "proof" of their existing knowledge, gained through years in the field, who are being classified alongside "paper" admins with the certs but no real experience because they've studied it in a boot camp.

I'm not knocking the kids/people who do go down the boot camp route but to rely so heavily on people having a particular cert rather than relevant experience really isn't a good thing, IMHO.

I know people who have gone to Devry, gotten their degree in IT Management and don't know diddly squat, but they have that paper, and $30 grand plus in student loans

i think was like 90 -100 question each test.
a lot of it is bad pagination and explainations

they do like the microsoft test and ask you the same question 3 different ways.

grats on your cert

wow, questions about 98?? Your lucky, I took it 4 years ago and had to answer questions on win95 smile

oooo, wait, were there questions on vista?? if so, not so lucky....

My words of advise for the techs to be, if you work for a major computer manufactorer(in my case DELL) make sure you take off the first 2 months of any major MS release. I still have knightmare(hehe, see what i did there) about supporting vista out of the box... furious
