Since the 12th I'm the proud father of two daughters instead of one.

Our new baby was born on the 12th of September on 06.40 in the morning and she was born by a Caesarian section as she was coming down with her arm first instead of her head.

She was born 50cm tall and her weight was 3 kg and 50 gr ( 3.050gr ). We left the hospital with the same weight but three cm taller.

She's very quiet and healthy , she sleeps a lot and she has given to me , her mother and her sister a lot of happiness.

We left the hospital on Tuesday and arrived home at 15.00. Since then our new tiny little human being is a full member of our family.

Stella , our older daughter , is 8 years old and she treats her sister like a little mother. She's always willing to help us with the baby care and she has started developing the special relationship that evolves between brothers and sisters.

Maria is in pain and needs to stay in bed for some hours during the day but this all will be history in about 10 days. Caesarian section is in any case a surgery and we need to treat as one although it is very common here women to give birth by Caesarian section. Unfortunate but true. They think they can't stand some hours of pain their body in prepared to stand and instead prefer ( or the don't know that they will ) to be in pain for about 15 days and have gone through a serious surgery. Women's mind that we , men , sometimes cannot follow. In any case , she is OK apart from the pain , she is healthy and all she has to do is cope with it for some more days.

Photos will follow shortly as I have to find sometime to empty my camera and upload.

Now , with the weekend ahead I need to find sometime to rest.
