lol JoAnn. He just loves roast chicken and prefers it over any other meat, probably because I started him off on it when he was still tiny.
Here's a few recent pics. He's still growing and one can see just how young he is by his front teeth which are tiny relative to how big they will be once he's fully grown. How slowly he grows actually amazes me! He's skinny and tall and the only sign of growth now is around his chest area which is getting to be visibly deeper. The second pic shows his size quite nicely even though his face is shaded.
He's a great companion and whatever I'm doing outside, he follows me around and shoves his snoot into

He's really good with moving out of the way when I need him to...like when I'm in the plantations felling a 200 foot 10 ton tree

I just yell "Poop! Move! Come here!" and he comes running to my side...he knows by experience that when I say MOVE! he MUST move because something big and hard is going to crash down near where he's standing

My small scale sawmill is quite a dangerous space for him to hang around and it didn't take long to teach him that when I need him to move he must...fast!
A few weeks ago he developed a sore front paw, I think because he scraped his nails away digging, and it took a week or so for him to walk and run without limping. He looked pitiful walking around for a while but there was no sign of injury or infection.
Speaking of which, on Monday I noticed he was scratching his ears a lot and when I checked I found some reddish brown stuff in his ears. Checking on the net it seemed it was a yeast infection so I got some cleanser ear drops and an anti fungal/anti bacterial ointment and it's clearing up nicely already.
