retail the Pantech Breeze(TM) is better, however i would go with the LG CU515.. LG makes really good phones, and i have never heard of Pantech.

It's supposed to be the first phone designed for seniors tongue although the idea is just ease of use (breezy). They're marketing to aging boomers (of which I am not one).

Looks like unanimous for the CU515. I'll see if anyone else has strong opinions. But unfortunately they don't have too many options. I guess everyone's going for the Blackberry/Palm and the bells & whistles PDA phones now (which I had and am getting rid of). I'm regressing back to a basic phone.

my phone the LG rumor is a very nice phone, i got it just because i do lots of texting and it has a mini keyboard, so texting is really easy...

sprint in my area works well, so if it doesn't then i would go with another carrier...

here are some reviews for the rumor...

Thanks. I definitely don't want another bar phone, though. I don't do a lot of texting and have had a couple of phones with keyboards and have decided to downgrade to a basic flip phone. I'm with AT&T.

Thanks everyone! notworthy I bought the LG CU515.

I went into a store yesterday and actually looked at them all, and I'm glad I did. I'd been thinking of getting the smallest one(s), but I hadn't considered that a small outside means a small inside! The little bit of difference in the size of the slightly larger CU515 really did make the buttons easier to press.

Playing with it convinced me it's a really great phone, and a $210 phone for free can't be beat.
