hi guyz
i hope some 1 can help me .
my laptop came with pre-installed VISTA so i dont want to remove VISTA.
I want XP also. (dual boot)
so i installed XP on D: drive later on i followed these steps :
1st link: (links r in the end)

1. vista is in C drive
2. installed XP in D drive
3. repaired vista.
4. added entry for win XP

then later when i restarted my laptop i m getting this error

well still i cant fix the pro after reading the link given above.

Any instructions would be nice

It's possible that it is simply that your boot.ini file is not correct or not in the correct location. The XP boot system files (boot.ini, ntldr and NTDETECT.COM) need to be on the root of the drive tagged (System) according to Disk Management. You can copy and paste them there if they are not already there.

Also, your boot.ini needs to point to the correct partition/drive and we can help you with that if you post a link to an image of your Disk Management
