I want to start a dual-boot procedure on my laptop, the only thing is, it is only giving me 140MB shrink volume size space. Is there and way to change this?
I have also found that there is an EISA configuration on another hidden partition. I have created a recovery disk so I don't really need it, but if I delete this, will this help increase the shrink volume space at all?

If you turn off System restore temporarily and also disable your swap file (virtual memory) temporarily you should be able to create a larger partition. I'd suggest you first delete any other partitions you've already created but I don't think it's necessary to delete the EISA partition...it's probably not very big anyway.

Its 5.37 GB which would be of help for when I want to install XP. How would I go about temporarily disable swap file and system restore? And how can these be turned back on?
Thanks for your reply.
