A friend of mine has Vista, and she is having a problem with it. I think, and she thinks it's a virus, but I'm a mac type of person, and I don't know, this topic is for her, since she cant do it. =P

This is her problem.

I have Windows Vista, and every time I start up my computer, it takes me to a start up screen. The only options on the screen are (bottom right corner "Shut down, Restart, Hibernate, Sleep"; and on the bottom left options like "Hear Text" which is a narrator option) and in the middle of the screen, is my icon and name. If I click on that, it takes me to the "Welcome." loading page. After that, the "Logging off..." page. After that, comes the start up screen again. I can't do anything else.

What brand, model etc, of computer is it be as specific as possible

May be able to do a system restore if we know what kind of computer it is and know how to access it

It is usually hitting F12 while it booting will give you the option to restore
