Well, its crashed, frooze, mouse would'nt move. Ctrl, Alt and Del didnt appear.
SoulSeek, uTorrent, MP 11 and IE 7 happily on.
Sound stops MP 11 (Not responding). I reset.

My HD setup. 80G Dual boot, ATA IDE - C: 27G Vista / D: 53G XP Pro.
F: 160G SATA.

I re-boot, Documents and Music folders (Location Fsmile totally screwed. Everything that was in there gone. Not much anyhow, since I fresh installed yesterday, which makes it even more a pain.

I load MP 11, goto any album > Open File Location. WHAT !!??? These folders > found.000 > dir0001.chk .
Vista has screwed locations. How do I restore Documents and Music folders.
I open event viewer. WMI Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected."

Thanks in advance.

I dont know what the hell is going on.
Either HD or MP 11 related.
I just had another prob there.
The thing is, when I had Vista soley on this 160G (SATA II) SeaGate HD [mobo nVidia 430/6100 chipset], MP 11, I think cause probs.

I have a Q-Tec 550 W PSU, and for months all hardware has worked fine under XP Pro.

Ok this recent prob. This time I left the PC. Asks me to shut down SoulSeek. saywhat

But before all that I tryed opening MP II and audio files.

The sore part is, I goto My Computer anf F: has gone completely.
It can possible be a power issue?

Its doing my head in. I can usually fix PC ills by this stage.
Since the fresh installed nothing has been tampered with, most Vista settings remain default.

Im horrified that I came back and F: completely gone from My Computer.
Never had this before.

Is F drive completely dead now? If not run a check disk and see what the results are I think.

Its not dead thankfully. So weird, completely disappeared from My Computer. But yeah, it did do a chkdsk before loading.

Everythings fine now.

Everytime I load MP 11, I keep waiting for this to happen.

I mean, I can play MP 11 and run Race Driver GRID at same time.

I will report back if it happens again.

If you have problems with WMP 11 again, try the free RealPlayer. It's the only player I use and it plays many formats that WMP is not able to. I'm not sure there's a 64-Bit version but a 32-Bit version should auto install and run fine in the wow64 folder

Thanks. Im thinking WinAmp. Had problem just then, with only SoulSeek and Media Player 11 opened.

ERROR WMI.

"Event filter with query SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "root CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. I like MP11. But WinAmp it is from now on.

Thanks.

Sound like a bad installation.

VERY easily done ... sad

The only thing that I really dislike about Vista is that it can be a b*tch to install properly ...
