Nice screen shots guys, I have a few too but not enough posts yet.

One thing I discovered is that if you format your flash drive in 7 it is no good anymore in any other windows OS furious

I managed to mess-up 3 x 4GB flash drives doing this.
Wont open in XP, Vista x86 or Vista x64, now I get errors to return the flash drive to the manufacturer furious

I even reformatted 2 of them again using the restore defaults button in 7, still no good... they will open in 7 though lol

Hmmm... you must have formatted them in a different way than standard. The only way that it can't be visable outside of 7/Server 2k8 is if you format it as a GUID partition table, rather than a MBR partition table.

Nope, on my first pass, I opened Computer & right clicked on the flash drive (2 Patriots & 1 Emprex) & chose the format option, then chose the Start button, that is my SOP for formatting anything. I didn't change or chose anything different than the standard procedure.

Here are a few of my screen shots from last night.
I'll get more tonight smilenod

Windows 7 Desktop Preferences

The -rearm parameter is used to extend the try out period for another 30 days up to 120.

Impressive pictures you took there...

I tried the Windows Journal some, but didn’t see anything new there.

Hey Brian, so what do you think about Windows 7 so far?

I like it, its like Vista x86 but with a few updates to the ui & windows apps.

I have quit using the 4 GB flash drives and am using 2 GB drives now & have had none of the earlier problem I had.

Oh Ya, well in Vista Ultimate I can confirm... probably any Vista that has Aero enabled.

One needs to have several windows minimized in the task bar then click on the little quick launch button (pops a describe that says "Switch between windows") by the Start button, then use the arrow keys to rotate the choices.
