This sounds like a ploy by the RIAA and the MPAA. I wonder how much they paid McAfee to report this...
On every news site, the number of PCs infected is different as is the percentage of PCs. Plus, for some strange reason, McAfee is the only one reporting this.

Sounds a bit like the mediasentry tactics. I think McAFee should concentrate on the 'botnet that has infected millions of machines and is just sitting there waiting for the word. Sounds like some free advertising for them. Anyways, anyone who pirates should also be willing to pay the consequences. Reformat!
