I recently installed XP to dualboot it with Vista on my laptop.
However, I have a question: When dualbooting, if a program is installed on one partition, (Say, for example, the Vista side), then will it be able to be used on the other partition (The XP side)?
I got a copy of Office 2007, and I would like to install it, but I'd like to be able to use it on both Vista and XP.
Also, if I do a system reboot, would I be able to reinstall Office 2007? I figure the answer is yes, but I just wanted to know.

That last question is kind confusing. What do you mean by system reboot?
Some programs will not work that way because the OS that the program is not installed on will look for registry entries that aren't there. Try it, if it doesn't work you'll know. You should be able to access your files though.

As for MS Office, you will have to install it on both operating systems in order to run properly.

Make sure you install it in different partitions and different folders also, or it may overwrite some files
