IncrediMail has been know to for Malware and spyware. I am not sure what there act is nowdays but remember it is free and anything that is free, you will eventually pay for it. I took it off a XP machine that it took over the WinSock layer. They were well associated with newdotnet for a while also, it is an ad generator/popup ware.

Wow, I didnt know that Jeff, hopefully the paid for version is clean.

I am using the Xe (paid for) version.
I can use Windows (Vista) Mail to read the NG's & IncrediMail for my email.
About evcery 6 months ± I did notice a nagging icon in the task bar to go to their website, but it goes away.

The stationary, Emotions, music & features is sure nice, pitty they dont show-up in Yahoo or gmail when i sent to them.

Funny thing about "programs that don't work" in vista is that many of thme don't work for the most artificial of reaons. Like differing sytem registry or file locations or something else the program looks for.

The core is essentially the next NT and is technically fully capable of running a lot of the programs in the "wont run" lists. It's as if thres a ploy to get people to go out and buy never versions of otherwise perfectly working programs - in some cases the newer versions are worse than the previous ones.

Just look at Office 2003 vs 2007.

Forget the Lexmark drivers. Even though they now say they are compatible with Vista and I installed the latest ones, they still don't work.

Which model? My Lexmark z1420 model works fine.

Audigy 2 ZS:

Kinda works. The Game Controller aspect of that card does NOT work with Vista (know issue). Will result in a Device Manager yellow exclamation mark under game controllers I believe.
