ok, so I got this new phone
its a motorola w385
It has a mini usb port
so I wanted to see what would happen if I hooked it up to my computer
After installing a driver, it will charge off of my computer
But, what else will it do.
It seems that I should be able to get the computer to use this pone for something, any ideas?
any programs out there there could find the phone?

Since it isn't windows mobile based, you may not be able to do much with it. You could check out Motorola's product page to see if they have anything there to get more out of it via your PC connection though. My older samsung phone I got rid of had a utility to keep contacts and such synced with it.

After plugging the phone in have you run a Vista windows update? I had to do an update to get Vista to work with my Motorola Q9M but it is also Windows CE.....
