So, in accordance with today's contest, I'm going to let yall in on a calendar/organizer that I've been using for a while which I think is really intuitive. It's called
Scrybe. Basically, it's a calendar like any other calendar, but it's much easier to use. Unlike the Google calendar where you have to fill out a form to mark appointments, I can simply click on a day and type "Job at 3pm" and it'll automatically put the task "Job" on the 3pm slot. There are other parameters too, but that's all I use most of the time. It's also got a task list for listing when assignments are due, emailing reminders, etc. The other cool feature is the ThoughtPad, which basically just allows you to jot down any notes while you're working on your computer. Say you're doing some research at work for, eh, buying a new car. Well, you if you find any pages of interest, you can copy some text from the page, import some of the images, and then link that idea back to the website so you can pull it up later. I find it most useful when trying to look at information from multiple sources side by side. Since you can just copy the relevant information, it can save time by not having to search through a page and match up stuff like you would have to do if you just had a bunch of tabs open in Firefox.
Of course, it's still in beta, but I signed up to be notified and they sent me an invite. If your interested, you can do the same. They've got a nice youtube video on their site giving a nice overview of the whole program.
