I have Vista Ultimate,

BF2142 works fine. I have version 1.25

I bought NS from EALINK and after I installed it, a message came up:
"UPDATE AVAILABLE"

what does this mean? has anyone see this before?


When I play the game, I can unlock the NS upgrades but I cant play the MAPS! When i launch a NS map, I get this error: "players with modified content are not allowed to play on this server, please revert your version back to the original... blah blah.."

I have formatted my PC, reinstalled 2142, then the patch, then NS, then punkbuster.

Everything else work. Not sure what to do...

Ummm... I haven't installed northern strike, nor do I have Vista. Are you by any chance using a no-cd patch?

I've been getting this exact same error too... only I got it not only on my vista computer, but also on my xp. I would really like to find out what the cause of this is, and the support doesnt help as it suggests I download from a different link.

are u guys running the game as an administrator?

i use to have the same problem with vista and punkbuster. running it as an administrator solves the issue

love 2142. great game

Do this. Install the patch. Install NS and repatch it.
