I installed VistaBootPro 3.2 in Windows XP 32-bit.
When I start it it asks me for Administrators rights and refuses to run.
I am logged in as Administrator and with a password.
This does not happen with VistaBootPro 3.1beta in the same machine.
WindowsXP 32-bit is running on a Notebook, which I don't think is relevant in this case.

Try right clicking on the program and clicking run as administrator. I can't remember exactly where that is (it has been awhile since I've used Vista) but I think that will work.

@ix2,

It will always ask for administrator rights. That is hard coded into the application. On opening the application it will ask for you to 'Run As Administrator' even if you are an admin. I can't remeber off the top of my head but I believe it asks you the same thing when logged in as the Administrator.

If anyone can provide a screenshot this would help us identify the problem alot faster. This has not happened to any of our testers so we need to find out what the problem is.

Thanks,
Jason

It is a Window that says
"Access denied"
"VistaBootPro requires Administrator privileges in order to operate. Please right click on the application and select 'Run as Administrator'"
The only available button is "Accept" which kicks you out.
I have already right clicked on the application and selected the "Run as Administrator" thing, but it just keeps showing this window upon start.

So you are saying that the series of events are as follows:

1. Right click on VBP and select Run As Administrator
2. Prompts you for an admin username and password
3. The says that you need admin rights in order to proceed

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Jason

Right-click on VistaBootPro.exe
Select "Run As"
Choose "The following user" and I select Administrator and its proper password.
Then click on "Accept"
(translation may vary because I am running XP 32-bit in Spanish)
First pop-up is the "OS Detection Error", which also appears on Vista x64 AND XP x64
"VistaBootPro has detected that Vista ..."
Click on "Accept"
Then get the other pop up of "Access Denied" already described in my previous post.

Okay. Thank you for the information. We are currently working the issue and believe it has to do with the Digital Signature. We are pursuing it and will update everyone asap.
